We are always looking for new people to get involved with the Festival!

You can get involved with the Sharrow Festival in a number of ways

Become a member of the committee:
We meet monthly (usually on a Monday night) at the Old Junior School in Sharrow.  You are very welcome to come along and see how it works. You do not need any previous experience of planning a Festival - all we ask is a bit of your time and enthusiasm! Come along or contact Alan for more information (see numbers at the bottom of the page).

Become a volunteer on the day:
We have plenty of jobs on the day from helping to set up, to stewarding, to litter-picking, to fundraising. Again, no experience needed and you get a free lunch to say thank you! You can volunteer all day (from 9 am to 9 pm) or any part of the day.

Perform on the Community Stage:
We are always looking for local musicians, singers, dancers, poets, storytellers etc etc etc to make the Community Stage the lively, vibrant and fun spectacle it is every year!

For information or to apply to email CommunityStage@SharrowFestival.co.uk

Run a stall:

We have stalls selling arts and crafts, hot and cold food, stalls for local businesses, community groups, political parties, campaigns, bric a brac... you name it! Sliding scale of booking fees to accommodate all.

Raise funds:

If you want to have a collection at your workplace, do a sponsored run, sit in a bath of beans or simply write us a cheque because you love the Festival then please do! If you want to donate a Raffle Prize we would be delighted to raffle it for you.
We are all volunteers and raise the entire cost of the Festival ourselves every year. Please help us to make it happen!
